Yoga Nidra = Yogic Sleep:
A form of meditation that guides the practitioner into conscious sleep, giving the body space to rest & heal while gaining access to the inner wisdom of the universe and beyond.

Helps with:
1) Relief: Releasing stress, anxiety, overwhelm & overriding old patterns/behaviors.
2) Deep Rest: Improve sleep patterns and overall energy levels.
3) Feel Better: Lifts depression and opens the practitioner to a sense of wholeness, a coming home, a remembering of who you truly are.
4) Creativity: Accessing that space where epiphanies are birthed - that 'inner' knowing, supporting creative flow and soul alignment.
+ More.

Set up a comfy space to lay (or sit) down and follow my verbal guidance into deep relaxation, accessing deep self-healing states & inner wisdom.

Timing:
*Have your nest created before class begins, or at least have what you need ready to set up when class begins.
*You may arrive up to 10 minutes early to ask any questions and get settled in.
*Be on time. I may/may not let attendees in after 5 mins past start time.

What's needed from You:
a)
Create a Rest Nest - a space you can be comfortable and fully relax.
Use as many pillows, blankets and cushions you may need.
See More On CREATING YOUR REST NEST HERE
b) Set your computer/phone camera up so I can see at least a portion of you/your body if possible. This helps me to be able to monitor your process and see if you might need extra direction or support, but it’s not required.
c) Headphones or loud enough speakers that you can hear the soft verbal instructions.
d) Follow my verbal guidance to the best of your ability. With practice, the focus gets easier.
e) Journal/Pen - super useful to document your experiences, possible realizations, new ideas, any items you may need for comfort next time, etc.
f) Drinking water - in case you need to hydrate at any point.

Other Suggestions:
*Try to avoid eating within 1 hour of practice. It is easier to fully relax the mind/body on an empty stomach.
*Doing a little stretching or gentle movement before we begin can help to expel any restlessness and open the body a little more to receive.

Recording:
There may or may not be a recording made from this, depending on how much time I have that week to edit/upload.

Possible Contraindications:
*Any meditation practice can bring you into deep connection with the ‘Self,’ the Universe, Source, the Earth, Unity of all existence. This can bring about an array of feelings and sometimes a ‘bending’ or shifting of the mind and belief/mental constructs. If you ever feel unsettled, confused or need support in any way to discuss or work through what has surfaced for You, please reach out to me, or you can always contact White Flag App / @whiteflagapp which offers free and anonymous help.
