New Moon & Partial Solar Eclipse

Eclipses offer such powerful energy, supporting us in accessing some of our biggest dreams! To me, they create glitches in the matrix (the energetic fabrics of our world), and offer us easy access to different timelines of our life.

I realize that way of thinking may be far-out there for some, so to put it more simply, Eclipses allow us to drastically change our lives, sometimes in a completely different direction or propelling us forward in ways that we may have thought impossible!

Clear intentions, presence and courage can all help in navigating the waters toward and into the changes You want in your life.

Clear Intentions:
Let your heart and universe know what changes you are ready to embrace (even if you don't know the 'how' yet).

Presence:
Being present in the moment to catch the outer and inner guidance, nudges or opportunities is absolutely important, so you don't miss the boat and can maneuver the changing tides more effectively.

Courage:
Big change requires courage and faith in the unknown. You will not necessarily know what is on the other side, but taking the chance is the only thing that will get you there to find out.

There are two eclipse seasons a year, usually consisting of one lunar eclipse and one solar eclipse. Sometimes they are partial and sometimes you cannot see them from wherever you are on the planet.

The last eclipse season took place in April/May this year with a Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio, and it was Mercury Retrograde.

Full Moons are always about reflecting on the past, seeing what's working and what isn't, letting go of what isn't and deep healing.

Mercury Retrograde is a time of mending communications and bringing completion or evolution to old projects, relationships and outdated ways.

THIS eclipse season begins with the New Moon in Scorpio, and Mercury is in a forward motion. It's opposite from where we began!

Scorpio represents the depths of Emotional Intimacy, Sensuality, Sexuality, Intuition, Great Courage, the Mystery, the Shadow and absolute Transformation (creation, destruction & rebirth).

So, in my eyes, since the end of the last eclipse season, we have been working on our emotions, relationships (w/self and other), building courage and embracing the unknown - individually in our own ways and collectively in ways we may never see.

Now, the new moon and solar eclipse are saying "Great work! Now you have access to some grand new beginnings" in these areas of your life and beyond.

It may be useful to reflect back on the work/effort you've put into the above areas in your life since May. Whether these areas of your life have been really challenging, flowing smoothly or somewhere in between, this is still a fantastic time to see if you can gain some clarity on what direction you are feeling called to now.

It is always a good practice to be a bit logical when setting goals/intentions so we are aligned with what we have to work with here and now, and yet, Scorpio energy is divine access to the workings of the mystery of life, and Eclipse energy can plop things/people/opportunities into your lap out of no where....so let your Soul dream a little...or a Lot!

Whatever You are dreaming up,
here are some inquiry questions to support You in navigating your New Moon Intentions:

1) In what areas of my life am I craving deeper connection? Deeper meaning? Deeper purpose?

2) What have I wanted for the longest time but just haven't had the means to embrace it yet?

3) Where are my interests and passions guiding me to?

4) What have my emotions taught me about myself and my life in the last 6 months? In what ways can I use this acquired self-intelligence to better navigate my future moments?

5) What new ways of being - behaviors, actions, rituals, thinking, expressing, etc. - am I ready to put into motion?

Once last thing I didn't mention yet is the eclipse won't be visible from North America unfortunately, but we can still tap into the energy!
